Marigot & Marina Fort Louis
The French capital: a waterfront of cafés, a market, and a marina with bridge-free access steps from town. A graceful place to begin a charter on the French side.
French Saint-Martin and Dutch Sint Maarten share one extraordinary island — and a private yacht is the only way to experience both in a single day.
Saint Martin is the smallest island in the world shared by two countries — French Saint-Martin in the north and Dutch Sint Maarten in the south — and seeing it from the water is the only way to grasp both in a single day. The French side offers Marigot's marina, Grand Case's gourmet bay and the protected northeast islets; the Dutch side offers the superyacht infrastructure of Simpson Bay and the broad beach of Great Bay.
Most of our charters are based around this island, with St. Barts and Anguilla as natural extensions. Explore each side in depth on our French Saint Martin and Dutch Sint Maarten pages, or plan the practicalities on our marinas & departure points guide.

The French capital: a waterfront of cafés, a market, and a marina with bridge-free access steps from town. A graceful place to begin a charter on the French side.
A crescent bay famous for its restaurant row — arguably the Caribbean's gourmet village — with Creole Rock's snorkeling just offshore.
A sheltered north-coast cove with a small marina — calm water and a pretty, protected feel.
A sand-fringed islet off the northeast coast with shallow gin-clear water and simple beach restaurants — a classic boat day.
Uninhabited, inside the nature reserve: a long beach, clear snorkeling and a wild edge. Overnight mooring requires advance request to the reserve.
The Dutch side's yachting heart: superyacht marinas, provisioning and a lively strip, opening to a beautiful bay.
The Dutch capital on a mile-long beach — boardwalk, duty-free shopping and cruise-port energy.
The famous east-coast beach with water sports and beach bars — breezy, social and beautiful.
A private charter is the easiest way to experience French Saint Martin and Dutch Sint Maarten in a single, seamless day.
One island, two nations. The north is French Saint-Martin — Marigot, Grand Case and the nature reserve, with a distinctly French Caribbean atmosphere. The south is Dutch Sint Maarten — Simpson Bay, Philipsburg and the big-yacht marina infrastructure. A private charter can comfortably experience both in a single day.
On the French side: Marina Fort Louis in Marigot and Port de Lonvilliers at Anse Marcel. On the Dutch side: Simpson Bay Marina, Yacht Club Isle de Sol and Port de Plaisance around Simpson Bay Lagoon. Your charter's actual departure point depends on the yacht booked and is confirmed in writing.
Marigot's Marina Fort Louis offers bridge-free access and around 150 slips for yachts up to roughly 260 ft, right beside the waterfront town. Whether your charter departs from Marigot depends on the yacht — request it and we will confirm what is possible.
Simpson Bay and its lagoon form the Dutch side's yachting hub, home to superyacht marinas, fuel and provisioning. Many charters depart from this area. The lagoon is reached via the Simpson Bay Bridge, which opens on a published schedule — your captain handles the timing.
Yes — Pinel, off Cul-de-Sac on the northeast coast, is a beloved boat day-trip: a sandy islet with shallow clear water and beach restaurants. Access sits within the nature reserve's orbit, so mooring rules and conditions apply.
Tintamarre is a wild, uninhabited island inside the Saint Martin Nature Reserve, known for its beach and snorkeling. It is a classic charter stop; overnight mooring requires a request submitted to the reserve at least three days in advance, and drones are prohibited in the protected area.
Creole Rock off Grand Case, the waters around Tintamarre, and Pinel Island are the standouts on the French side. The northeast coast lies within the 30 km² national nature reserve created in 1998, which protects coral reefs, mangroves, seagrass beds, ponds and dry coastal forest.
Yes — both are popular extensions. St. Barts is an open-water crossing to the southeast; Anguilla lies a short hop to the north. Round trips and one-way routes are quoted individually, with route-specific fuel confirmed in writing.
Both, ideally — that is the island's charm. A typical charter day pairs a French-side morning (Creole Rock, Tintamarre or Pinel) with a Dutch-side afternoon along Simpson Bay or Great Bay. Your captain sequences stops around conditions.
